Awarded to – Outstanding students who are applying to the undergraduate programs in NUS.
Scholarship benefits
- Complete waiving off of tuition fees amounting to – 80-90 lakhs INR for 4 years
- Additionally, accommodation, living allowance, computer allowance, settling allowance, and even 2 flight tickets to and from Singapore!
- This sums up to 1.2 crore for 4 years of the program!
Additional points – Need to serve a bond for 6 years – Which means, once you graduate, you need to work in Singapore for a total of 6 years.
Eligibility – Mainly depends on your profile and don’t have to do anything additional!

2. Residential College (RC) Scholarships

3. NTU Science and Engineering Scholarship
Similar to the NUS S&T Scholarship. Here also, you have your entire tuition fees covered, accommodation and living allowance, computer allowance, and 2 air tickets to and from Singapore, amounting to nearly 1.2cr for a 4-year program. Here also, you need to serve a 6-year bond in Singapore.
Eligibility criteria for all scholarships at NTU
- Excellent academic records
- Good leadership potential
- Good extra-curricular.
Applying process
- The application process for all these scholarships is also the same. When you are filling out your application form, you will see a separate link to apply for all these scholarships.
- A separate 300-word essay and a reference letter from your teacher need to be submitted.

4. Singapore Service Obligation Scheme
Most of the scholarship programs provided by both NTU and NUS are highly competitive and challenging to obtain. However, the Singapore government offers an outstanding scheme that significantly reduces tuition fees, known as the Service Obligation Scheme.
Under this program, the government decreases your tuition fees by almost 50% if you agree to work in Singapore for three years after graduation.
The best part is that anyone who applies for the scheme is typically awarded it. To take advantage of this opportunity, simply inform the university of your interest, and you will likely be granted the scheme. An overwhelming majority of undergraduate students in Singapore are enrolled in this program!
